Schools shape women’s empowerment long before the workplace does. On Teacher’s Day, Saransh Jain looks at girls, women teachers, dignity, stereotypes, leadership and the lessons children absorb beyond textbooks.

Rajasthan is taking the Rani Laxmi Bai Kendra programme to 150 colleges, where 25,000 girls will receive practical training in self-defence, legal rights, financial awareness and personal confidence.

Sport is not only about careers or medals. For women and girls, it can build confidence, health, leadership, belonging and the courage to shape their own futures.
