India has convened the Third Preparatory Meeting of the BRICS Women’s Track as part of its BRICS Chairmanship. The meeting was held virtually on 29 June 2026 under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
The BRICS Women’s Working Group and India’s chairship agenda came together in the meeting as member countries discussed cooperation and consensus ahead of the BRICS Women Track meetings in Kochi, Kerala.
According to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Anil Malik, Secretary of the Ministry, chaired the meeting.
